Uganda Cup (Round of 32) – Tuesday, 6th March 2018

  • Sports Club Villa Jogoo Vs Bright Stars
  • At Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium (4 pm)

Sports Club Villa Jogoo will host Bright Stars this coming Tuesday at the home of their bitter rivals – Mutesa II Wankulukuku stadium, and not at their Masaka Recreational Stadium fortress.

Felix Okot of Bright Stars dribbles the ball as two SC Villa players Nicholas Kasozi and Joseph Nsubuga keep the chase. The two clubs face off once again in the Uganda Cup this Tuesday Credit:

The development was confirmed to Kawowo Sports by the SC Villa Jogoo club president, Ben Immanuel Misagga.

We decided to transfer from Masaka Recreational Stadium to Wankulukuku for only the Uganda Cup.

We have a busy fixture, so traveling to Masaka and back then go to Arua for the Onduparaka match may fatigue our players a lot.

On Saturday, Bright Stars held SC Villa Jogoo to a one all draw at the Champions Stadium in Mwererwe.

Bright Stars’ captain Nelson Senkatuka struck to level the game and cancel Martin Kizza’s third minute opener.

This will be a round of 32 engagement where other matches have been played as well.

Other top flight clubs still left in the Stanbic bank sponsored knock out tournament are Mbarara City, Vipers, Proline, KCCA and BUL.

KCCA is the cup holder.

This year’s final will be played in Kumi.
