The Uganda Premier League continues with three games on Friday, 9th March 2018.

In one of the games lined up, league debutants Masavu plays host to Bright Stars at the lake side Fisheries Training Institute play ground in Entebbe.
Masavu is win-less in the second half of the season and remains one of the sides yet to add to the first round victories.
The Entebbe based club has attained home draws with UPDF and KCCA as well as away stalemates with BUL and Maroons.
Bright Stars on the other hand managed to record mixed results including the mosr recent one all draw at their Champions stadium home with Sports Club Villa Jogoo.
Return of Coach Alex Gitta and midfielder Ddumba Sadala:
During the game at home against Bright Stars, Masavu will welcome back from suspension two inflential team members.
Assistant coach Alex Gitta and midfielder-cum-striker Ddumba Sadala shall be back from the four match suspension by the FUFA Discplinary panel.

Key players:
Masavu’s prodigal son and team captain Abraham Ndugwa, recently summoned to the Uganda Cranes team will be one of the key players to watch.
He will be joined by goalkeeper Salim Munaku, left winger James Kasibante, kingpin defender Benjamin Nyakoojo (on loan from Vipers), midfielder Charles ‘Napia’ Wamala and the returning Ddumba Sadala as some of the pillars the team dwells upon.

The visiting team has team captain and club top scorer, Nelson Senkatuka, the experienced Sula Ssebunza Ssekajja, pint sized but immensely gifted midfielder Mahad Kiseeka, the workhaloic Brian Enzema as well as the robust winger Sheif Batte for the much needed inspiration.
Bright Stars is currently 9th with 23 points and Masavu is second from bottom with 18 points off 19 matches.
