SC Villa assistant coach Paul Mukatabala says his boys are mentally prepared for their Uganda Cup duel against FUFA Big League side, Ndejje University.

The University side will be at home to the 9-time cup winners and Mukatabala is aware of the threat they pose although he insists the Jogoos are ready.

“Lower division sides always have nothing to lose which makes such games very difficult,” Mukatabala told Kawowo Sports. “But the boys are aware of that and mentally, they will overcome that and we hope for a good result,” he added.

The Jogoos won 2-0 at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku against Bright Stars to reach the stage and go into the game with no injury worries.

Last year, they got eliminated at the round of 64 but like Mukatabala said, they have a tough hurdle in Ndejje, a side that has always been so close to promotion to the premier league in the past seasons.

Martin Kizza and Godfrey Lwesibawa will be the main men tasked to unlock the backline for the visitors with George Senkaaba expected to lead the line.
