Township Rollers coach Nikola Kavazovic was left satisfied with the CAF Champions League group draw that pits his side against giants Esperance and Al Ahly as well as KCCA.
The four were drawn in group A and with the Botswana side opening their campaign at home to fellow debutants KCCA; he outlines the importance of a good start.
“We have to be satisfied with the draw,” he told Cafonline. “Looking at all four groups, Group B (TP Mazembe, MC Alger, Difaa El Jadidi and ES Setif) is the group of death,” he added before revealing he preferred group A.
We had a group which I personally prefer and I’m happy with. We have to prepare very well and get the three points from our opening match against KCCA at home. Once we have the three points, there will be no pressure on us for the next game.
Township Rollers edged El Merriekh and Yanga to reach the group stages.
