The visitors who arrived in Uganda on the match day will have a few hours of rest at Hotel Africa before taking on the Uganda Cranes who are ranked 78th as the latest FIFA world Rankings.

This will be first game at home for coach Sebastien Desabre since taking over the national team having handled the team during the 2018 CHAN Championships in Morocco.

“I want to have a test for the players especially the foreign based as we look forward the AFCON 2019 qualifiers against Tanzania and Lesotho, both matches at home” Desabre noted.

Faruku Miya, Edirisa Lubega and Aucho Khalid all pulled out as they finish up with the documentations at their respective clubs.

The rest of the Uganda Cranes players have been training well at Mandela National stadium with a few gym drills at Ivy’s Hotel in Wakaliga where the team is also accomodated.
