“We shall do the ground breaking on Monday” Mwebe confirmed on Sunday at the site as heavy trucks heaped soil on the soggy plain adjacent the shoreline.

Entebbe Municipality mayor, Kayanja Vicent De Paul blessed the project tagging it as environmentally friendly.

“The lake will not be tampered with neither will the trees nearby the site be cut down. This project is therefore environmentally friendly and it will benefit many people in Entebbe and Katabi sub county as well as the entire Ugandan population” Kayanja remarked.
