AFCON U-20 Qualifiers:

South Sudan delegation of players and officials in preparation for the first leg of the AFCON U-20 qualifier with Uganda is expected at Entebbe International Airport on Thursday morning.

According to the South Sudan Football Federation public relations officer Daniel Gabriel, the delegation sets foot in at Entebbe International Airport aboard Kenya Airways Thursday at 11 am.

We shall arrive at Entebbe International Airport on Thursday at 11 am with 20 players and 10 officials.

The team hotel remains undisclosed but they are expected to train later on Thursday evening before the mandatory last training at Lugogo on Friday (4 pm).

Uganda hosts the first leg at the Star Times stadium, Lugogo before the return leg in a fortnight that will be played at the Juba stadium.

Meanwhile, the Uganda Hippos team will continue with their preparations with one session on Thursday afternoon at Lugogo.

The team is currently in camp at the African Bible University, Lubowa.

Coaches Mathias Lule (head coach), James Odoch (assistant coach) and Samuel Kawalya (goalkeeping coach) are handling the youngsters.
