Former Uganda Cranes skipper, now coach at New York Red Bulls Ibrahim Sekagya has congratulated Ugandan coaches Moses Basena and Fred Kajoba on completing their short coaching course in the USA.

“I would to take this opportunity to thank my seniors; Coach Kajjoba Fred & Coach Moses Basena for honouring my invite, I truly appreciate your coming,” Sekagya wrote on his facebook page.
“It was really a great gesture, having you around the Red Bulls family. For the love of the game; I hope you picked the very best out of it, enjoyed & loved the hospitality.
“The beautiful game, is all about learning & exchanging new Ideas. Hope to see you again.”

Basena and Kajoba travelled to New York to link up with Sekagya for a short coaching stint at the Major League Soccer side.
The duo have spent close to one month with the side, going through several workshops to improve their coaching skills.

Basena’s contract was not renewed with Uganda Cranes’ after being named interim caretaker from runaway coach Milutin Micho Sredojević.
Micho terminated his employment contract citing non payment of salaries to the tune of $54,000.
Frenchman Sebastien Desabre, 41 was later named new coach, FUFA promising Basena a coach training course.
