Mustafa Dongo scored fourteen minutes to time as UPDF won 1-0 against visitors URA at Bombo Barracks to steer six points off the relegation zone.

The army side came into the game on the back of three games minus maximum points and the test against the Tax Collectors appeared tough.

The two sides played to a goalless draw in the first half despite either side playing an open game but the second half proved something else for Steven Bogere’s side.

With a game seemingly destined for a stalemate, Dongo had other ideas as he netted the winner.

UPDF now move to 12th on the 16-team log with 25 points, two behind URA who are 9th after 23 games.
