Uganda Premier League (Wednesday, 11th April 2018):
- BUL Vs Vipers
At Kakindu Stadium, Jinja (4:30 pm)

When Jinja based club BUL F.C entertains Vipers, they will not have their head coach Kefa Kisala on the touch line due to an internal suspension.
Kisala, for starters was suspended last Wednesday following unconvincing performance and cases of disrespect to some of the club officials, among whom is team manager Dauda Were.
Against visiting Vipers, his immediate assistants Peter Onen and David ‘Tiliika’ Kiwanuka will take charge.
BUL’s last game in the league was that disastrous 3-1 away loss to Soana at the Kavumba Recreational stadium, in a match they also finished with 10 men following a straight red card to January 2018 mid season signing Douglas Owori for slapping Paddy Muhumuza.
Therefore, it goes without a saying, Owori will miss the match as he starts the red card messes.
Coming to the game proper, BUL is the inferior side bearing mind the previous encounters that the two clubs have faced off.
In 13 matches, Vipers enjoy the lion’s share of wins – 7, Bul has managed just two wins and four have been draws.

Add to the fact that Vipers has won 9 times in the previous 10 matches since November 2017, Miguel Da Costa’s side remain clear cut favourites heading to the match.
The Venoms visit Jinja without Deus Bukenya (suspension) and stylish teenager Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye who is with the St Mary’s Kitende school team at the Wakiso District football Copa championship in Matugga.
Striker Dese Steven Mukwala faces the stern rush against time following a Monday knock in training.
Goalkeeper Ismail Watenga has recovered from knee injury picked up and it will be up to the technical team to name him ahead of James Alitho.

Key players:
Vipers’ Brian Nkuubi, striker Daniel Muzeyi Sserunkuma, Milton Karisa, Erisa Ssekisambu, Yayo Lutimba, captain Nico Wakiro Wadada, Tadeo Lwanga, Tom Masiko, Pius Wangi, Moses Waiswa and goalkeeper James Alitho will be key figures for the away team.
If fielded, Karisa will be facing a club that baby sat him from infantry.

BUL will dwell upon the fine form of Uganda Hippos’ striker Hamis Tibita, Yunus Sibira, Richard Wandyaka, left back Faizo Muledhu and former Vipers’ holding midfielder Patrick Sembuya for the much needed inspiration at home where they enjoy immense support.
“This game will be good for us to win and put the house in order after we lost the previous game away from home. All the players are set and good enough, we have the home fans behind us” Tibita told Kawowo Sports.

“We are focused on winning the title and we can afford to let go. We are going out for nothing but three points,” Ssekisambu was quoted by the UPL website.
Maximum points for either side will mean a great deal.
In case Vipers record a win, they will displace KCCA in second place.
For 8th placed BUL who have collected 28 points in 22 matches, three points will be good enough to hold onto the mid-table status quo.
