URA brought their four match winless streak with a maiden win over Kirinya Jinja SS in the league.
The Tax collectors scored at the start and death of the game through Charles Sempa and Hood Mulikyi respectively.
It was the fourth meeting between the two sides since Kirinya earned promotion to the premier league but URA had never beaten the side, losing once and drawing the rest.
Sempa set the tone with an opening goal inside the first minute but the visitors held on with a search for equaliser until Mulikyi made the points save with a strike inside the last minute of added time.
URA moved to 8th position on the 16-team table with 30 points while Kirinya remain 4th with 37 points after 24 games.
