Nine teams confirmed for the inaugural Kisubi Rugby 7s circuit

1^st Kisubi Rugby 7s Circuit

• At Kisubi University

The first ever Kisubi Rugby 7s circuit will take place on Saturday, 14th April 2018 at Kisubi University.

A total of nine teams are confirmed for this day long championship.

These are; Makerere University – Kampala, Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi, Kampala International University (Kampala campus), Kampala International University (Ishaka Campus), Nkumba University, Ndejje University, University of Kisubi, Survey Institute, Entebbe and a guest team – the Jengo boys (Entebbe Mongers Under 19 TEAM).

According to the tournament technical director cum referees manager, Peter Kirunda Basadhansolo, the tournament will be held on an annual basis;

This will be an annual arrangement starting with the 2018 edition where we have managed a total of 9 teams. There are two groups that will be played on a round robin basis before the quarter finals, semis and finals (bowl and plate) will take effect.
