The 2018 National Basketball League will tip-off on Saturday, May 12 at Lugogo Indoor Stadium.

Five time champions City Oilers and Power will face off in the headline game of the opening day.

Power, whose last league glory was in 2011, recruited massively adding the likes of Stephen Wundi, Geoffrey Soro as well as Philip Ameny and will be eager to dethrone Oilers who have won the last five titles.

Meanwhile, last season’s losing finalists KIU Titans will start their campaign to return to the finals against newcomers KCCA.

Our Saviour will take on Sharing while Charging Rhinos will battle JKL Dolphins.

In the women’s division, Javon will take on Nkumba while UMU Ravens will play JKL Lady Dolphins.
