FUFA Drum (Group A):
- Bugisu 8-0 Sebei
James Alitho was once again the star attraction in Bugisu’s 8-0 overwhelming victory against visiting Sebei in a FUFA Drum group A match played on a wet Mbale Municipal Stadium turf on Saturday.

Alitho scored a hat-trick, taking his personal tally in the tournament to six.
Normally a goalkeeper with Vipers Sports Club in the Uganda Premier League, Alitho is employed as a center forward for the Bugisu province team.
Vipers team captain Nico Wakiro Wadada, Milton Karisa, BUL’s Hakim Magombe (brace) and Kataka FC youngster Tifu Kahandi.

In the other group A match, Busoga and Teso shared the spoils in the goal-less stalemate played at Kakindu Stadium in Jinja.
A point earned for Busoga was good enough for their progress to the quarter finals.
Bugisu now has 7 points while Teso Province is on 5 points from four matches apiece.
Sebei is yet to register a win and has no chance of progressing to the knock out level.
Kampala outwitted Rwenzori 3-1 away at the Nyahuka play ground in Bundibugyo district, Western Uganda.

Bright Stars Football club captain and the current Uganda Premier League top scorer, Nelson Senkatuka scored all the three Kampala’s goals.
Robert Mukongottya, a forward with Nyamityobora football club got the consolation of Rwenzori in a match also watched by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) president, Moses Magogo.
Kampala thus qualified for the quarter finals of this tournament.
In group B, Acholi joined Busoga and Kampala to the quarter finals, after a slim 1-0 away win to Kigezi at the Kabale Municipal Stadium.
URA midfielder Hudu Mulikyi scored the lone strike for Acholi before a lively crowd under rainny conditions.
Acholi now has 10 points from four matches.
Elsewhere, Lango earned their first win, recovering from a goal down to win 3-1 away to Buganda at the Bishops S.S play ground in Mukono.
Amuka Bright Stars forward Dickens Okwi scored a brace and second half substitute Petit Wanok got the winning goal.
Buganda had earlier in the first half taken the lead through Allan Kayiwa’s powerful header off captain Brian Majwega’s cross from the left.
All the other three teams in group B (Buganda, Kigezi and Lango) have four points with a realistic chance of joining the quarter finals alongside Acholi.
