Mbarara City targets a return to winning ways when they host Bul at Kakyeeka on Wednesday.
Despite having a game in hand over their relegation rivals, the Ankole Lions are desperate to jump out of relegation after they slopped following wins by Proline and Express.
The hosts, 2-0 losers to Express in their previous game will hope to put away chances they missed at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.
Clinton Kamugisha and Makweth Awol will be the main men for the hosts who are now second from bottom with 23 points.
For the hosts, all hope will be in U-20 international Hamis Tibita for goals with Yusuf Mukisa keeping things tight at the back.
A win for the hosts will see them jump to 12th while Bul, 9th on the 16-team log have a chance to go 32 points.
