Uganda Premier League (Wednesday, 18th April 2018):
- Masavu Vs Soana
- At the Fisheries Training Institute, Bugonga (4 pm)

Regardless of the final result when Masavu faces Soana at the Fisheries Training Institute in Bugonga on Wednesday, the home team will still remain bottom lagged.
Masavu is currently 16th with 20 points from 24 matches, with a deficit of 21 goals.
Co-coached by Joseph Mutyaba and Alex Gitta, Masavu faces a stern test against time and character to fight being relegated in their debut season.

Against Alex Isabirye’s Soana, a comfortable mid-table club, Masavu requires to optimally put the home advantage to full use and attain maximum points if they are to have any realistic chance of surviving the drop zone.
Soana is one club that blows hot and cold, with lots of inconsistent performance – winning one game, drawing another and losing the next one.
In their immediate past match, Soana rallied from a goal down to earn a point at Bright Stars in the two all stalemate at the Champions Stadium in Mwererwe last week.
Masavu rallied to earn a point off visiting Proline in the one all draw last Thursday at their Bugonga grave yard, scoring with five minutes to the game collapse through the tried and tested Arthur Ssemazi.

Key Players and Battles:
The home team will look to their prodigal son, captain and Uganda Cranes player Abraham Ndugwa for the much needed inspiration.
Ndugwa’s back up plans have Ddumba Sadala, Ssemazi, James Kasibante, Charles Napia Wamala and Ivan Lubale up front.
Salim Wekiya is expected to maintain his slot in goal with veteran Sande Mukiibi at left back and Moses Kiggundu at the right.
Benjamin Nyokoojo and Ibrahim Mpengere shall maintain the central defensive pairing.
Enter Soana, it takes a dice throw to determine who starts in goal between Joel Mutakubwa and Meddie Kibirige.
Either veteran Siraje Turyamuhebwa or Isa Mubiru could start at right back with John Muwanguzi on the left.

Skipper Timothy Musinguzi, recently named man of the match when Tooro lost at home 1-0 to West Nile in the FUFA Drum will partner with the gangly Mike Kawooya at the heart of defence.
Hardworking midfielder Paddy Muhumuza take the anchorman role with a wide range of offensive options in Simon Okwi, Steven Ategeka, Emmanuel Kalyowa, Wanok Petit, Muwadda Mawejje, Baker Buyala and the ever fresh Allan Kayiwa.
Kayiwa, for starters scored a powerful header in the FUFA Drum match for Buganda during their 3-1 home loss to Lango at the Bishops S.S play ground in Mukono.
The other league match on the day will see Mbarara City host coach-less BUL FC at the Kakindu Stadium in Mbarara town.
