As many as four clubs from CECAFA region are in the group stage of the Total 2018 CAF Confederation Cup.

Kenya’s Gor Mahia, Tanzania’s Young Africans, Sudan’s Al Hilal and Rwanda’s Rayon Sport were the teams from the region as the line-up for the group stage was completed.

K’Ogalo and Rayon Sport are also part of the eight teams that make the group stages of the competition for the first time alongside Ghana’s Aduana, Congolese side, CARA, Williamsville of Cote d’Ivoire, UD Songo of Mozambique, El Masry of Egypt and Moroccan outfit RS Berkane.

The 2018 group stages also have former African champions, AS Vita (DR Congo), Raja Club Athletic (Morocco), ASEC Mimosas (Cote d’Ivoire) and Enyimba (Nigeria) and CARA (Congo).

Also in the line-up is Malian side Djoliba and USM Alger of Algeria.

The draw will take place on Saturday, 21 April 2018, at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
