Maroons played to a sixteenth draw in the Uganda Premier League following a 1-1 stalemate with URA at Namboole.
Maxwell Okello scored for the visitors on a chilly afternoon before Herman Wasswa equalised for Paul Nkata’s side.
Maroons started brightly with Pius Obuya, Alex Wogalo and Solomon Walusimbi combining well but were kept at bay by Alionzi Nafian and the cross bar which denied Wogalo.
At the other end, Wasswa saw his tame effort saved after a good cross in the area by Ronald Kigongo while he also sent his left shot over the bar after he was called into play by Shafik Kagimu.
But the deadlock was broken in the 27th minute thanks to Okello whose headed effort beat the former Onduparaka goalie with Eddie Kapampa claiming the assist.
Seven minutes later, Wasswa got on the score sheet with a brilliant just inside the area after he looked to fumble with high ball off Kigongo.
Maroons, 6th on the log with 34 points have now drawn at least four more games than any other side in the division.
Paul Nkata’s URA also stay eighth with 31 points after 25 games.
