Lynn United 2-3 International S.C
Ugandan footballer plying his trade in USA, Eddie Mercy Kisakye says he feels proud to have netted a goal in front of Lynn United’s home fans despite losing 2-3 to International in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL).

Kisakye connected home past International S.C’s keeper thanks to a beautiful cross from the right wing by teammate Xavier Orellana. Braima Samati scored Lynn United’s second goal but it was not enough to salvage a point.
Speaking to Kawowo Sports, the Massachusetts-based player revealed how satisfying the goal was, praising Samati for the great delivery.
It was a great feeling scoring at home with the home support. I was hungry to get on the score sheet and it was a great ball from Xavier Orellana.
Lynn United should have scored a couple more goals but failure to convert crucial chances costed the side, an issue Kisakye expounded on.
“Yes the game was one sided for most of the first half but we bounced back and created more chances in the second half. We we’re simply unlucky to kill it off in the last minutes of the game,” he added.

Lynn United is at Manning Field – their home – this Saturday against Unations FC and the Ugandan feels he’s ready and fit to replicate more of the same.
I am in great shape physically and definitely cannot wait for challenge ahead.
