It has been long over due!
Farouk Miya scored his first goal at Azerbaijan premier side, FC Sebail on Sunday.
The Uganda Cranes international who was loaned from Belgian club, Standard Liege for a season struck the equalizing goal as Sebail drew one-all with bottom lagging side, Kapaz in the Azerbaijan Premier league.
Hundreds of home fans at the Bayil Arena stadium in Baku city witnessed first hand as a well stationed Miya controlled a long Qurbanli delivery inside the goal area before floating the ball into the net.
Miya’s goal on 24 minutes only cancelled out Dario Frederico Da Silva’s opener five minutes earlier. An elated Miya, took to his official face book page and reacted;
Decent result and happy for the goal today.

Sebail will travel away to face Sumqayit on Sunday, 29th April 2018.
They are currently second from bottom with 20 points off 24 games. Kapaz remains bottom lagged having accumulated just 13 points from the same number of matches.
