The draws for the third edition of the 2018 FUFA Corporate tournament were held on Wednesday, 25th April 2018 at the FUFA Headquarters in Mengo, Kampala.

Airtel Uganda Limited has been drawn in group A, arguably the group of death.

The telecommunications giants were drawn alongside losing finalists at the 2018 Road to Anfield tournament, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Post Bank, NIC Holdings and SOGEA – SATOM.

Group B has Kyagalanyi Coffee Limited, Roke Telecom, Uganda Premier League, BIDCO and 102.1 FUFA FM.

Sadolin Paints, 2016 winners National Water and Sewerage Corporation, reigning champions SSL Logistics, Diamond Trust Bank and Stanbic Bank.

In group D, it is Eco Bank, Red Pepper, Ruparelia Group, UMEME  Limited and KCCA FC Admin in the mix.

Airtel Uganda official, Noella Byuma was one of the officials who graced the draws. She warned the rest of the companies, as quoted by the FUFA Website;

Airtel has been a proud partner with FUFA on several engagements and us being part of the FUFA Corporate Tournament portrays our commitment towards developing the game of football. We also vow to come and challenge for the title and other teams should stand warned.

The tournament will be held at KISU, Bukoto this Saturday.
