6th Mpanga Forest Trail Run & MTB Challenge

Preparations for a successful 2018 Mpanga Forest Trail and Mountain bike challenge are on a top notch status.

The forest run and mountain trail challenge is organized by Activate Uganda.

This will be the 6th Edition of the Mpanga Trail Running Challenge.

According to Alex Matovu, this edition has spiced up with the mountain bike;

This year we have decided to include Mountain Bike Trail Race for our mountain bikers have always felt left out for such a beautiful race. The Race is scheduled for 29th April 2018.  Registration is Shs 60,000 and Shs 40,000 for the adults and children (U-15’s) respectively. It’s a race you shouldn’t miss!!

The Mpanga Forest Trail Run and MTB Challenge is one of the most beautiful Trail run and Mountain biking routes to be done in Uganda, suitable for both adults and children.

The trail runs through the Mpanga Forest Reserve and Mpigi Village, passing through some extraordinary views of a variety of landscapes.

Mpanga Forest is a 45 minute drive from Kampala on Makasa Road, 2km away from Mpigi town (about 36km from Kampala).

What runners should expect:

  • Feeding station during the run
  • Water point
  • Freshly Squeezed Juice
  • Breakfast after the race
  • Professional electronic timing results
  • Prizes for the first 3 winners (Men and Women)
