Fifth placed Kirinya-Jinja S.S will entertain 9th on the log Bright Stars at the Kyabazinga stadium in Bugembe on Saturday.

This will be one of the three games played up on the day.

Fresh from the Jinja derby which ended one all, Kirinya-Jinja S.S will be out for maximum points on a ground that have performed wonders in the second half of the season.

Whereas Kirinya-Jinja S.S is so safe away from relegation talk, Bright Stars with 30 points is not so sure and it is the reason, this match will be so important to the away team.

Key players:

Forwards Fred Amaku, Joel Madondo, Musa Esenu and Faizal Muwawu will be the main strikers for the home side against the fast improving Bright Stars away from home.

Kirinya-Jinja S.S head coach Charles Ayiekho Lukula has a pool of midfielders to pick from. Captain Emmanuel Akol, Anthony Mayanja, Isaac Ntege, Mark Bamukyaaye, Landry Makon and Macro Willey  are all available for selection.

The Stars will once again dwell upon their inspirational team captain and joint top scorer Nelson Senkatuka for the much needed intervention against a back-line that has Livingstone “C4” Mulondo and company.

Towering Brian Enzema, Methiodius Jjungu, diminutive duo of Henry Kiwanuka and Mahad Kiseeka as well as the hard tackling Jimmy “Kachanga” Kakooza shall be the main midfielders for Fred Kajoba and Paul Kiwanuka’s coached side.

During the first leg between the two clubs played at the Champions stadium in Mwererwe, Bright Stars recovered from a goal down to win 2-1.

Musa Esenu’s 5th minute goal, was cancelled by Senkatuka on 24 minutes before Joshua Kawadwa scored the winner, 14 minutes to the final whistle for the maximum points.
