In a dramatic turn of events, management at Police Football Club has reinstated head coach Abdallah Mubiru and members of his technical team, Kawowo Sports has learnt.

This was hours after management had ordered for the suspension of the entire coaching staff that also has John ‘Ayala’ Luyinda (Assistant Coach) and James Magala (Goalkeeping Coach)

The development followed a crisis meeting during which a decision was made to grant Mubiru authority once again at least until the end of the season.

“He (Abdallah Mubiru) and the working team have to carry on until the end of the season. This was a management decision,” an official who requested not to be named.

Last Friday, Police suffered a humiliating 5-0 loss to Onduparaka F.C at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole in arguably the biggest loss for the club in recent times.

After 26 matches, Police Football Club, winners of the Uganda Premier League in 2005 is currently 8th with 32 points.

Police hosts Soana on Tuesday, 1st May 2018 in their next domestic league engagement at their Mandela National Stadium.
