Uganda Cranes player maker Farouk Miya scored his second goal on the loan spell at Sabail Football club.

Miya scored the opener and created the winner as Samir Aliyev’s Sabail defeated Sumqayit 2-1 away at the Kapital Bank Arena in the Azerbaijan premier league on Sunday.

The hard working Ugandan midfielder struck the first a minute after the opening half hour mark with a well curled shot from 30 yards.

Eight minutes later, he assisted the second goal.

Aqshin Gurbanli scored the second goal on the day in the 39th minute as the visitors took a 2-0 lead heading to the half time break.

Amil Yunanov then netted the consolation 14 minutes from full time to create a tense finish to the game.

Maximum points for Sabail put them to 23 points, but they maintained 7th place.

Sumaqayit also stays in third place with 39 points off 25 matches played.

Next Match:

Sabail will host 5th placed Zira this Saturday, 5th May 2018 at their 5000 Bayil Arena fortress.

A week ago, Miya had scored the at home against Kapaz in the one all draw.
