In preparation for 2018 national Copa football championship in Mbarara which kick off next week, Buddo Secondary School has intensified their training regime to two sessions per day.

Punctuated  by friendly matches here and there, Buddo S.S will take on Buddu Ssaza team on Wednesday morning in another warm up game at Buddo S.S play ground.

Buddo S.S head coach Simon Mugerwa has the hope that he will win the national championship, the only missing trophy in a glamorous cabinet as school’s football tactician.

Mugerwa, in an exclusive interview with Kawowo Sports confirmed the development;

We have been having double sessions so that the players are used to the intensity and demands of the modern game. On Wedesday morning, we shall play a friendly match with Buddu Ssaza team at the school play ground.

Uganda U-20 play maker Saddam Masereka, Express’ goalkeeper Tonny Kyamera, the bow legged exciting talent Masuudi Kafumbe, defender Samuel Kato Nemeyimana, Emmanuel Peter Loki, Hakim Kiwanuka, Ibrahim Thembo, Goffin Oyowrith, Mark Nsubuga, Ramathan Juma, Frank Ssebufu among others will feature for team Buddo.

Simon Ddunga, a coach at Buddu will assemble Ivan Sserubiri, Mikidadi Ssenyonga, Nasser Lukwago, Marida Kuteesa, left back Umaru Kato, Hadadi Mutumba, Ashraf Magembe, right back Deste Mubiru, Brian Oyuka and others for the game.

Buddu Ssaza will also play against Express in another build up on Thursday, 3rd May 2018 at the Muteesa II Wankulukuku Stadium at 4 p.m.

Buddu is in group C of the 2018 Airtel Masaza tournament alongside Ssesse, Kooki and Bulemeezi.
