Express FC technical director George ‘Best’ Nsimbe believes the side will stay up despite a ‘hard to take’ defeat at home to KCCA.

The hosts took the lead at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku through a clean Ayub Kisaliita penalty but squandered the chance as Allan Okello and Jackson Nunda scored to earn the champions maximum points.

“The fight becomes harder when you drop points,” said Nsimbe in regards to the relegation fight. “But we pick positives and move on,” he added.

The boys gave their all and if they replicate the performance against other teams, am confident we shall survive.

The Red Eagles played some good football and were all over KCCA especially after the break but missed chances to tie the game.

The six-time champions’ remaining four league fixtures are also no pushovers.

They play title chasing SC Villa and Vipers at home and away respectively and also have away games to URA and Masavu.
