Masavu scored a penalty 16 minutes to full time as the Entebbe side played to a one-all draw with Kirinya-Jinja S.S at the Kyabazinga stadium, Bugembe in  Jinja on Saturday.

The much protested penalty was converted by the experienced Arthur Semazi to cancel out Anthony Mayanja’s opener on 50 minutes.

Kirinya-Jinja S.S captain Godfrey Akol, Musa Esenu and George Kasonko were all cautioned by FIFA Referee Ali Kaddu.

Semazi and Benjamin Nyakoojo were both booked for Masavu.

The Entebbe based club missed the services of right back Philly Lutaaya who was red carded in the one all home draw with Mbarara City on Wednesday.

Masavu thus earned their 10th draw of the campaign as they remain bottom lagged with 25 points from 28 matches.

Kirinya-Jinja S.S is win-less in the past four matches, and remains 5th with 39 points off 28 games.
