Reigning Uganda Premier League champions, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club piped rivals Proline 2-0 during a Uganda Premier League duel played on Tuesday at the Star Times stadium, Lugogo.

Following a goal-less opening 45 minutes of action, live wire striker  Shaban “Jarggason” Muhammed brought the game to life with the opening goal five minutes into the second half.

Derrick Nsibambi scored the second goal on the stroke of full time to confirm the maximum points in the well contested Lugogo derby match officiated by William Oloya.

KCCA captain Timothy Awany and Proline’s Savio Kabugo were the two cautioned players in the game.

The league defending champions keep chase of the leaders, Vipers who faltered at Kirinya-Jinja S.S with the one all draw in Jinja.

Mike Mutebi’s charges now have 54 points from 27 games, five short of the current leaders.

Proline suffers their 15th loss of the season which leaves them second from bottom with 27 points from 28 games.
