Bright Stars’ captain Nelson Senkatuka scored a brace during their 2-1 away win against BUL in the Uganda Premier League at the Kakindu Stadium, Jinja on Friday.

The visitors recovered from a goal down to win the game, attaining their 8th victory in 28 matches.
Pierre Muhindo Kambale struck the home side into a 9th minute lead.
Senkatuka brought the game level with the equalizer on the stroke of half time.
The clinical sharp shooter then struck the match winner inside the first minute of the four added minutes of injury time as the game neared its climax.
This was his 15th league goal that shot him aloft the top scorers’ charts of the league (two goals ahead of KCCA’s Muhammed Shaban and Vipers’ Daniel Muzeyi Sserunkuma).
Efforts by BUL to find the equalizer hit a dead end when forward Douglas Owori’s penalty in the 93rd minute was missed.
The magnificent performance for Bright Stars comes barely a a week after winning 2-1 away to another Jinja entity, Kirinya-Jinja S.S at the Kakindu Stadium in Bugembe.
Maximum points for Fred Kajoba’s coached side elevate them to 38 points as they jump two places to 6th on the 16 team log.
On the other hand, BUL dropped to 9th on the table standings since they remain with 36 points.
