Ahead of the highly anticipated CAF Champions League clash against Al Ahly, KCCA manager Mike Mutebi reveals his side have the desire to play against the best.

Mutebi also adds that the hosts have much respect for the eight time Africa champions as well as their rich history.

“We respect Al Ahly as a dominant force and for all they have achieved,” Mutebi told the pre-match conference. “But as an emerging force, we have the desire to play against best,” he added before he says his young team have been given a responsibility.

We have the youngest team on the continent with the average age of 21 and we have given these boys responsibility.

What I can assure you is that we shall go and play our way.

KCCA sit bottom of the group that also has Botswana’s Township Rollers and Tunisia’s Esperance.

The Ugandan champions lost 1-0 to Ivan Ntege’s Rollers in the first game.
