Tooro United played their first game at the Buhinga Stadium in Fort Portal during the goal-less draw on match day 6 of the Star Times Uganda Premier League on Saturday.

A huge passionate crowd happily welcomed the home side (Tooro United) after switching their home ground from Kavumba Recreational Stadium.

It remained a game of limited goal scoring moments as the two sides also portrayed good defensive tactics.

FIFA Referee Brian Miiro Nsubuga booked Tooro United’s Timothy Musinguzi, but from the bench in the 76th minute and Davis Ssali four minutes later.

Visiting Onduparaka registered cautions for Oscar Agaba and Samson Ceaser Okhuti in the 64th and 68th minutes respectively.

The draw is the second for the respective clubs in six games pushing Onduparaka two places down to 6th with 11 points.

Tooro United, who fell 2-0 to Express in the previous game remains 12th with 5 points.

Next Matches:

Onduparaka remains in Kampala ahead of their Tuesday clash with struggling Maroons, a game that will see Asaph Mwebaze come face to face with his former pay masters for the first time since he was replaced by George “Best” Nsimbe.

On the other hand, Tooro United faces Police at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo on the same day.
