Erisa Ssekisambu has revealed that the success of Kenyan international Michael Olunga was part of the reasons for him signing at Gor Mahia.

The former SC Villa and Vipers SC forward was unveiled among other new players on Monday by K’Ogalo ahead of the new season that starts with a Caf Champions League tie against Nyasa Bullets.

“It was a dream to play for the Kenyan giants and I’m so happy,” he said as quoted by Futaa.com.

“That’s a dream come true, and another thing thatmade me join them is that the club has produced big strikers, the likes of(Michael) Olunga so I want also want to build my legacy.

Besides the Ugandan international, compatriot Shafik Batambuze from Singida United in Tanzania, Erick Ombija from Kenyatta University and striker Erick Ogendo who has been promoted from the youth team after featuring for Coast Stima are some of the other players unveiled.

Others are left-back Geoffrey Ochieng from Western Stima, striker Nicholas Kipkirui from Zoo FC and midfield maestro Kenneth Muguna from FK Tirana as well as Pascal Ogweno who signs from Kariobangi Sharks.
