3rd Edition of the Entebbe Corporate Sports Gala:

Sunday, 2nd December

*At Lake Victoria Primary School play-ground (9 AM – Till Late)

The annual Entebbe Corporate Sports gala returns this coming Sunday, 2ndDecember 2018 at the Lake Victoria primary school play-ground.

According to the event manager, Lawrence Kiweewa, there are close to 10 corporate companies that have duly confirmed to take part in the day long championship that will be played on a gala format;

We have at least 10 corporate companies that have confirmed to take part in this year’s Entebbe Corporate sports gala. The gala will be played on a 7 aside format. We urge as many others to turn up

The brains behind the whole idea Ronald Onzima promises a great tournament, an improvement from last year’s event with lots of fun.

We expect a better tournament compared to last year’s with entertainment repackaged. We shall have aerobics early in the morning

Some of the companies already registered include; Bank of Baroda, DAS Handling Services Limited, Umeme, Protea Hotel, Airforce, Car Rentals Entebbe, Way to AfricaSafaris, Kimeza Kampala, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Entebbe International among others.

The main aim of this corporate gala is to provide a rich plat from to the corporate family to network as well as exercise in a bid to keep fit.

There are a wide range of prizes to be rewarded to the excelling companies and individual players.

Protea Hotel players celebrate last season

Among them include trophies, medals, balls and cash. The best team will get Shs 2M with one million reserved for charity.

Protea Hotel won the tournament last year.
