Kobs have found little resistance in their first three games of the season, securing bonus point wins against Jinja Hippos, Walukuba Barbarians and Rams.

The 2016 champions and current table leaders will have their first real test of the premiership campaign when the visit old time rivals and second placed Heathens at Kyadondo Rugby Club.

Heathens have equally won three games but secured the bonus point in two of games. The 2017 champions manoeuvred past Pirates last Saturday, making their intentions to win silverware clear.

Kobs will be without fullback Adrian Kasito, who has been playing at scrum half recently. However, his absence might not be felt given the depth of the squad, with Ivan Kirabo and Joseph Aredo all available for the derby.

On the other hand, Chris Lubanga and Faisal Gamma returned to training and will be available to offer the experience needed in derby games, as will captain Michael Wokorach who has been at the club for a decade. Robert Masendi has been impressive with the boot for the Kyadondo side, and his points off the boot could be key.

Heathens seem to have taken care of their lineout issues from last with the signing of Charles Uhuru and Simon Olet, and their pack is solid with
Santos Ssenteza, Alex Mubiru, Abel Musoke and Emma Byamukama all available.

Kobs expansive play nearly cost them the Uganda Cup, but with Fred Mudoola choosing to go through his big boys, the side pinned Pirates. The tactician could still take the game to Heathens through the forwards as he did in the Cup semis.

Kobs edged Heathens 10-8 in the semifinal of the Uganda Cup last month, and the hosts will be looking to amend.
