Asaph MwebazeJr. was on Thursday evening named as the head coach for Uganda Premier League outfit Nyamityobora Football Club.

Mwebaze was confirmed for a three year tenure to extinguish speculation that had also linked former Nyamityobora coach (during the FUFA Big League days) Alex Isabirye.

The development was stamped by the club patron Isa Ssekatawa and president Ben Misagga in Kampala.

This happened moments after watching a FUFA Big League match between Proline and Dove at the Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

“Asaph MwebazeJr. is the head coach for Nyamityobora Football Club. He has the potential thatwill steer this club to the desired expectations” Misagga disclosed to KawowoSports.

Ben Misagga hands an employment contract to Asaph Mwebaze

Mwebaze had two weeks ago left Arua based side Onduparaka under shocking conditions after just three months into his three year tenure.

He had previously served with diligence at Maroons Football Club for a length period of time extending to over 10 years.

Mwebaze’s first duty at hand comes just hours after his appointment when Nyamityobora hosts SC Villa at their foster home located that will be staged at Muteesa II Wankulukuku Stadium.

Mwebaze replaces James Odoch whose contract was mutually terminated following unconvincing performances.
