Express FC have indefinitely suspended team captain Julius Ntambi for alleged indiscipline.
This was revealed in a press release signed by club chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka on Thursday December 6.
“In Express FC’s drive to excellence, discipline in its facets shall be and remains fundamental building block. Express maintains a policy of zero tolerance to indiscipline……” read part of the press release.
“Mr.Julius Ntambi’s conduct has been found wanting in several aspects and it’s now the subject of investigation. We therefore inform the Express family and entire footballing fraternity that Mr. Ntambi has been suspended indefinitely, as investigations into the alleged indiscipline and misconduct are concluded.
Speaking to Kiryowa who once referred to himself as the new sheriff in town, he said
“As a club we expect the highest standard of ethical conduct from the leadership, management, technical team, players and the fans,” he elaborated
“We take allegations of indiscipline seriously. We shall not hesitate to crack the whip on any one in the entire club structure who is in breach.
The Red Eagles join Nyamityobora on the list of clubs that have suspended players over indiscipline this season.
