BUL Vs Onduparaka

At FUFA Technical Center, Njeru (4:30 PM)

Third placed Onduparaka Football Club will on Tuesday take on 6th on the log BUL in a Uganda Premier League duel at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

This is one of the six games lined up for match day 10.

Fresh from their 2-1 win against nemesis entity Paidha Black Angels, the Catarpillars are now set to face another challenge away from home.

Still with care taker coach Simeon Masaba who took over after the resignation of Asaph Mwebaze, Onduparaka continues with their recent good form in the previous two games – winning 2-0 away at Express and 2-1 over Paidha Black Angels.

They take on Peter Onen’s BUL, one side that has blown hot and cold this term in their 9 matches played thus far – winning four, drawing three and falling short in two matches.

BUL’s immediate past game was that one all draw away to Bright Stars in Mwererwe, recovering from Nelson Senkatuka’s opener to level matters through Deogracious Ojok.

Battle of players:

Onduparaka has an array of on-form players ranging from their towering captain Rashid Toha, goalkeeper Nicholas Ssebwato, midfield dynamo Gadafi Gadihno, forwards Ezra Bidda, ever fresh left winger Viane Ssekajugo and Ceaser Okhuti among others.

BUL’s goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo, Oromochan Villa, Douglas Owori, Deogracious Ojok, Hamis Tibita, Patrick Ssembuya, Yunus Sibira are potential match winners for the home team.

Victory for either side on the evening will have an impact on their respective table standing.

For a win, Onduparaka will displace Vipers (not in action on Tuesday) out of second place.

Jinja based BUL prays for a win to take them above Mbarara City should the Mbarara side fail to pick maximum points in the all-Western Uganda affair against Tooro United at Kakyeka Stadium.

At the moment, Onduparaka has 20 points from 10 matches whilst BUL has 15 points from 9 matches.
