Gor Mahiaended their three-match losing streak with a 4-0 thrashing of Zoo FC to bounceback to winning ways in a Kenyan Premier League match played at the Kasarani Stadium on Wednesday.

Ivorian import Ephrem Guikan grabbed a brace in the game, scoring in the 1st and 16th minutes.

His second goal was from the spot after Samuel Onyango had been brought down inside Zoo’s box.

Onyango then scored the third in the 42nd minute.

Second half substitute Erisa Ssekambu added the fourth after expertly rounding off the goalkeeper Martin Elungati, another Ugandan to finish in an empty net.

The highly physical game saw both teams end with a man less.

 Francis Kahata was sent off for Gor Mahia while Denis Kawanga was sent off for Zoo Kericho after a fight.

This was the first game in charge of Turkish coach Hassan Oktay for the K’Ogalo who fell 2-1 on the road away to Bandari in Mombasa.

Gor Mahia will now turn their focus to the Caf Champions League match against Lobi Stars of Nigeria, at the same stadium on Sunday.
