Tooro United 2-0 Entebbe F.C

Tooro United Football Club is through to the next stage of the Stanbic Bank Uganda Cup (round of 32) after an easy 2-0 home win against Entebbe F.C at the Buhinga Stadium, Fort Portal on Sunday.

First half substitute Baker Buyala struck home the opener three minutes to the mandatory half time break as he broke the resistance of Allan Kabonge’s coached Entebbe who only travelled to Fort Portal with 11 players.

A minute after the half time recess, Steven Omvia added the second, the icing on the cake as Wasswa Bbosa’s side booked their slot to the last 32 stage.

They join Sports Club Villa, Mbarara City, Water the three earlier clubs that qualified on Friday as well as a large lot of clubs that played and won on Sunday, as well.

Meanwhile, the round of 64 Uganda Cup matches continue on Monday, 24th December 2018 with three games in Jinja, Kampala and Wakiso districts.

Wakiso Giants host Vision FC at the Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe, Jinja.

Kira United will play host to St Mary’s at the Mandela National Stadium and Proline plays FUFA Big League debutants Light S.S at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo.

The winner of the Uganda Cup qualifies to represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup.

KCCA is the current cup holder.
