Uganda Cup (Round of 64):

BUL 2-1 Kataka

Uganda Premier League club BUL FC out-witted FUFA Big League entity Kataka 2-1 during a round of 64 Uganda Cup duel played at the FUFA Technical Center on Sunday evening.

Former Bright Stars player Farouk Banga gave Peter Onen’s side the command with a 13th minute strike past goalkeeper Edward Kasibante for the half time lead.

Raymond Onyai found the equaliser for the second tier club, coached by Geofrey ‘Toldo’ Awach, seven minutes into the second stanza of the game played on astro surface.

BUL held onto the scoreline to win the day and qualify for the next stage (round of 32) where they join Sports Club Villa, Water and Mbarara City, three other clubs that had earlier made the grade on Friday.
