Fans willing to watch Eddie Kenzo’s select team alongside Senegalese retired footballer El Hadji Diouf against the FUFA President’s XI will pay no entry fees.

This charity match is scheduled to take place on Friday, 4th January 2019 at 10 AM, at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo.

The development was confirmed by Fred Katende Malibu, a member on the organising team.

It is free entrance. Eddie Kenzo is paying back to many of his fans as the year kicks off in style. Also, fans will be eager to watch the two time African footballer of the year facing the FUFA President and many of Uganda’s finest players.

Kenzo’s team has many of the active Uganda Cranes and active players as Brian Umony, Willy Kyambadde, Farouk Miya, Tonny Mawejje, David Obua, Geofrey ‘Baba’ Kizito, Yunus Sentamu, William Luwagga Kizito, a couple of Wakiso Giants players and the two men of the moment – Kenzo and El Hadji Diouf.

The FUFA President’s XI is composed of former Uganda Cranes players led by the FUFA CEO Edgar Watson Suubi, Hakim Boda-Boda” Magumba, Alex ‘Trezquet’ Isabirye, Edward Kalungi, Paul Mukatabala, Hassan ‘Figo Ow’emmamba’ Mubiru, Fred Tamale, Lawrence Kizito and goalkeeper Sadiq Wassa among others.

Diouf arrives on Thursday, 3rd January 2019 at Entebbe International Airport and he will be accorded VIP reception.

He is also expected to utilise the visit as a networking plat form with the Ugandan football family.

El Hadji Diouf’s visit to Uganda was facilitated by Wakiso Giants in conjunction with music star Eddie Kenzo who will be celebrating 10 years of music on the night of 4th January 2019 at Serena International Hotel, Kampala.
