- URA Vs KCCA – Mandela National stadium, Namboole 4.30pm
URA’s seventeen match unbeaten run comes under scrutiny when they face on form KCCA at Namboole on Tuesday.
The four time champions have had a stop start to the campaign winning just four games this season but haven’t lost a league game since the 7-2 defeat at KCCA in April.
The fixture pits two former colleagues in Mike Mutebi and Sam Ssimbwa against each other.
Ssimbwa who left KCCA acrimoniously after the club terminated his contract over words that left the club in disrepute will be eager to put one over his former bosses.
“The boys are ready for the game,” said Ssimbwa. “It’s going to be a tough game but we are playing at home and will try to go out for all points,” he added.
Mutebi also echoed similar sentiments admitting URA are one of the title challengers.
“We want to go and win,” Mutebi told the press. “There is nothing that we are going to change,” he added.
“URA is one of the opponents that is challenging for the title. Our main aim to win tomorrow’s match.
On form Mike Mutyaba, Muzamiru Mutyaba and Allan Okello will be the main players for the visitors while URA will look to Said Kyeyune, Moses Seruyidde for inspiration.
KCCA have won four of the previous ten league meetings, URA three while the rest are draws.
However, KCCA last away win against URA was in November 2013.
