Mbarara City 3-0 Kirinya-Jinja S.S
Mbarara City Football Club will complete the first round of the 2018/19 Uganda Premier League in third place.
The confirmation was stamped following a convincing 3-0 win by the home side in the humiliation of visiting Kirinya-Jinja S.S during Wednesday.
South Sudanese import Makweuth Wol opened the scoring business in the 26th minute.
The club’s record signing and treasured asset Paul Mucureezi doubled the scores on the stroke of half time.
In both goals, Jude Ssemugabi provided the assist before he found the third himself with 13 minutes to the game death off Mucureezi’s assist.

FIFA Referee Brian Miiro Nsubuga booked Kirinya-Jinja S.S’ Isma Kawawulo as well as the home side’s Asuman Alishe and Ibrahim Orit for unsporting behaviour.
Ssemugabi, a former Kiboga Young player was named the pilsner man of the match.
Mbarara City climbs to third on the log with 27 points off 14 matches.
Kirinya-Jinja S.S completes their first round on a sour footing with the fourth loss as they remain 10th on 19 points in 15 matches.
The league returns on Thursday, 10th January 2019 with four matches.
BUL hosts Mbarara based club Nyamityobora at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru, Paidha Black Angels face Maroons at the Green Light in Arua, Express takes on Ndejje University at Muteesa II Wankulukuku Stadium and Tooro United will entertain Bright Stars at the Buhinga Stadium in Fort Portal.
