Nyamityobora exhibited a great fighting spirit during the two-all draw away to BUL at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru on Thursday.

On two occasions, the Abanyakare recovered from a goal down to settle the score and managed to smile back home with at least a point in the couch.

BUL took the lead through Richard Wandyaka’s 5th minute opener for the first half lead.

Former Masaka S.S and Synergy towering defender Mohammed Yiga scored the equalizer 14 minutes into the second stanza.

BUL restored the lead ten minutes later with a rare strike from defender Willis Otong.

However, with 9 minutes left on the clock, Ibrahim Dada scored the much celebrated equalizer as the game settled at two goals apiece.

BUL second goal scorer Otong and Nyamityobora Charles Ssebutinde were the cautioned parties by referee Richard Kimbowa.

Nyamityobora left back Alex Komakech was named the Pilsner man of the match.

This was Nyamityobora’s third draw that put them on 9 points from the 15 games of the first round, leaving them third from the bottom.

BUL remains fifth with 23 points from 15 matches.

With the first round done and dusted, these two clubs switch their attention to the Uganda Cup matches.
