SC Villa’s woes in the 2018/19 season continue as they fall to Regional league side, Nkambi Coffee 2-0 at Masaka Recreation Ground in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

The Jogoos were favourites going into the game at the round of 32 but saw them exit at an early stage.

The Jogoos had brushed aside another Regional side, Lugazi Municipal 4-1 in the previous round but found Nkambi Coffee a different opposition.

Following a goalless first half, the hosts broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute following a lapse in the visitors defence.

With nine minutes to the final whistle, the hosts added another goal to put an end to any hopes of the Jogoos’ comeback.

SC Villa are having a torrid campaign sitting just one place above relegation zone with 14 points, just five ahead of the red zone in the Uganda Premier League.

Last season, the Blues, winners of the Uganda Cup on Nine occasions were eliminated at the semi-finals by Vipers SC.
