- Paidha Black Angels Vs Ndejje University – Green Light Stadium, Arua (4:30 PM)
- Vipers Vs Kirinya-Jinja S.S – St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende (4 PM)
There is a lot in common between Paidha Black Angels and Ndejje University Football Club.
First things first; both clubs are new comers in the top tier of the Uganda Premier League.
Either side have struggled to find a footing since their promotion from the FUFA Big League with two wins for Ndejje University as Paidha Black Angels has only managed one victory.
One of Ndejje University’s win was that slim 1-0 result over the ‘Blacks’ at the Arena of Visions stadium in Bombo.
The other is against Mbarara City, 2-1, still at their Bombo fortress.
On Friday, both sides face off in a return leg duel at the Green Light Stadium, Arua.
Since the first round engagement, a lot of water has gone down the drain.
First, Paidha Black Angels has since changed the technical wing with Muhammed Kiseka and his part time assistant Richard Tamale Kiwanuka Pinto off loaded for former Uganda Cranes and KCCA player Charles ‘Kadidi’ Ssenyange.
The Zombo based club who host their home matches in Arua base the Bar Okoro is not yet ready as deemed by FUFA has also shipped in 9 new January signings with former Vipers’ striker Dickens ‘Diarra’ Okwir the key talking point.
Worthy to mention is that fact that Paidha Black Angels kick start life without their inspirational captain Cromwell Abang Rwothomio who was sold to URA at a fee of Shs 14M.

Ceaser Olega, Okwir, Yusuf Ssozi, Andrew Kidega, Muhammed Kasirye are some of the players that will be looked upon to inspire Paidha Black Angels.
On the other hand, Ndejje University has Emmanuel Wasswa, Anwar Ntege, Noel Nasasira, goalkeeper Eric Kibowa, Francis Onekalit, among others to look on to having lost striker Dickens Kilama to URA.
Ndejje University head coach Raymond Timothy Komakech was up to Thursday evening still engaged in last minute transfer proceedings to beef up in squad.
The university managed club has 9 points and is 15th whilst Paidha Black Angels is rock bottom with a mere 7 points fetched in 15 games.
