Mbarara City Football Club completed their third signing of the mid-season window with the acquisition of defender Ronnie Kisekka, on a brief six-month contract.

Kisekka, a former KCCA and Express player joins the Ankole Lions as a direct replacement for the departed captain Asuman Alishe who has since joined Sports Club Villa.

He will therefore be envisaged as a perfect match up to partner the new skipper Hillary Mukundane with Zaidi Byekwaso playing the understudy role.

Mbarara City also signed experienced midfielder Ivan Mbowa who was formerly at rival side Nyamityobora as well Raymond Onyai, signed from FUFA Big League outfit, Kataka Football Club from Mbale.

The side will take on Maroons on Tuesday at Luzira before the much awaited Mbarara derby on Friday, 8th February 2019 at Kakyeka Stadium.
