Former Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Sadiq Wassa is among the latest coaches employed at West Nile based Uganda Premier League club, Onduparaka.
Wassa who is also the current Uganda U-23 goalkeeping coach has been unemployed since resigning at Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club.
He boasts of an elite CAF Goalkeeping Certificate attained from Cameroon as well as a CAF ‘B’ coaching licence.
Wassa is joined by another Sadiq entity, Sempigi, who has been the head coach at Buganda Region’s Kampala University Football Club.
Like Wassa, Sempigi also has a CAF ‘B’ coaching licence.
The two tacticians were each accorded a three-year employment contract and boost Onduparaka’s technical department that already has veteran Leo Adraa and Simeon Masaba.
Both officially started their work tasks when Onduparaka played to a one-all draw with Bright Stars in the league.
The Caterpillars are currently 6th on the log with 25 points from 16 outings.
On Tuesday, Onduparaka visits KCCA FC at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.
