Record winners Express will face Police FC in the round of 16 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup with all clubs eager to progress to the quarter finals.

Neither new Express coach George Ssemwogerere nor Police’s Abdallah Mubiru will welcome the draw.

The two sides have already met twice this season with each winning once.

The Cops won the latest meeting 2-0 on Monday that saw the Red Eagles part ways with Coach Kefa Kisala who had masterminded 3-1 win over the 2005 league champions in the reverse fixture.

The pairing of two members of the premier league means Vipers SC will remain the bookies favourites to lift the trophy, particularly as they will take on lower league opposition, Kiboga Young at Kitende.

Elsewhere, Fufa Big League side Wakiso Giants hosts Tooro United, SC Villa conquerors Nkambi Coffee will play away to Nebbi Central, Bul hosts Bukedea while Kitara will host Kyetume in the clash of the Fufa Big League teams.

Former winners URA will host Bright Stars at Namboole while Proline will play at home against Onduparaka.

The matches will be played between February 14-19, 2019.
